Good Afternoon Everyone!!!
Yes I feel like a vampire today! We didn’t leave Vamp’d till after 3am after one of the Greatest Rock Jams ever with the Alice Cooper Band, Jessie Camp and local musicians taking the stage at the only Rock venue in the city!!! Lets go back to earlier in the day! Woke up very late but got the show going on time!!! About 4pm I spoke with my friend Val and she told me she was having problems reaching Jessie and wasn’t sure what was going on. She tagged him on a fb post and her got back to her and we made the arrangements to pick him up at the airport. So I went out to make sure my truck had all the fluids up to par, then got ready to head to the airport. On my way to get gas, Val text me Jessie’s flight was arriving from LAX at 8:35 pm, it was 8:25 when I went to get gas. I rushed to the airport and parked. Looking at the arriving flights I saw I dodged a bullet because Jessie’s flight was delayed. OMG he landed at 9:35pm by the time he got off the plane and got to baggage claim it was 9:45. I had to have him at Vamp’d, dressed and ready to go in stage by 10:30. We ran out of the airport, leaving his luggage behind, paid for parking and by the time we got out of the parking lot it was 10:05, he had to be at the venue by 10:30, so we decided he was going to change as I drove up the I-15 in my beat up truck. lol it was a adventure for sure! I called Val as we exited the 15 to Sahara to head to Vamp’d, She was in a slight panic because we only had 10 minutes to get there. We got lucky and hit every green light and made it with 3 minutes to spare. Val was waiting for us at the back of the venue and we rushed Jessie to the front of the Venue with her announcing Jessie Camp is in the house. Val got him to the Green room finished getting him ready and the the Alice Cooper Band took the stage. One of the best group of musicians with such talent and special guests. Local musician Mary Kryah and the Lovely Alice Coopers Daughter Calico and his Wife also joined the band on stage giving us all a special treat along with many more local favorites! Danny The Count Koker was enjoying the show from the VIP room with friends and family! It was a memorable evening!!! The highlight was the adventure to get Jessie Camp to Vamp’d. Almost felt like we were in the movie Get Him to the Greek!!! LMAO Took some fb live videos which you can see on my personal page and or like page on FB links will be at the bottom!!!
